Betsy Imershein, Founder+Director

Betsy is a master implementer of projects, having spent her years engaging communities, building organizations and doing community, economic, sustainability and cultural revitalization work. Additionally, she is a published photographer/author of 10 children's books, past producer/managing director of two non-profit theatres, teacher of photography, policy and Judaic studies, and overall change maker. As a social justice activist and community organizer, artist, and policy analyst, the thread that has bound all of her work is a deep and abiding care for people. Healthy food and the lack of it have been central focuses of her efforts.

Betsy is creating the resources to impact food policy and spark change.

Jenny Osman, Communications+Program associate

Jenny grew up in New York City and despite her eye-opening experiences living abroad cannot imagine calling anywhere else home. With equal parts experience in the food industry and in education she is combining her dedication to food and social entrepreneurship as Program Associate for Change Matters.

Jenny believes food is our global common denominator and that there is no better way to help than through the power of food and access to it.
